Robert 'Robbie' Louis Wood

YORK- Robert ‘Robbie’ Louis Wood, 53, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at York Hospital. Born on August 10, 1965 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Richard A. and Mary Elizabeth (Cammarata) Wood. Robbie was a member of the community of Shadowfax for over twenty years. Robbie’s life was touched by the many caregivers at Shadowfax and in turn, he loved them back. Thank you everyone for all that you’ve done. Robbie is survived by three brothers, Timothy A. Wood of Harrisburg, Richard A. Wood and wife, Ann of Littlestown, and Rick A. Nelson of Minnesota; niece Jasmine Wood; nephew Jacob Wood; great nephew Aiden, and godfather Michael Cammarata. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 1551 Kenneth Road, with Certified Celebrant Debe Snyder officiating. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Entombment will at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2018, at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 4430 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD 21206. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Shadowfax, Robert Wood Memorial Fund, 386 Pattinson St, York, PA 17403.
