Robert R. Richcreek

LEWISBERRY- Robert R. Richcreek, Sr., 84, of Newberry Township, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Nancy M. (Grim) Richcreek. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street in Lewisberry, with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. Pastor Ronnie Riggins will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens in Lewisberry with full military honors by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Richcreek was born in Lewisberry on March 31, 1931, the son of the late Jacob and Mary Ellen (Troup) Richcreek. He retired from York International in York. Mr. Richcreek was a member of New Life Church in New Cumberland, Northern York Fish and Game and Etters VFW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Richcreek leaves two sons, Charles Richcreek and his wife Kathleen of Etters and Andrew Richcreek and his companion Loretta Hill of Lewisberry; a daughter, Nancy M. Bowers and her husband Jim of Lewisberry; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a sister, Daisy Knaub of Carlisle. He was preceded in death by two sons, Randy and Bob Richcreek and several brothers and sisters. Memorial Contributions may be made to New Life Church, 530 Big Spring Road, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
