Robert Martin Bragg, Sr.

YORK- Robert Martin Bragg, Sr., 88, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Manor Care Health Services North in York. He was the husband of Lillian R. (Kerns) Bragg, to whom he was married for 58 years. A Celebration of Life graveside tribute service will be held at 10:30 AM on July 2, 2015 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Assistant Pastor Rich Hall of Calvary Baptist Church in York, officiating. Born May 16, 1927 in Troy, Missouri, Robert was the son of the late Talbot Martin and Victoria (Jeans) Bragg. He worked as a supervisor at American Chain & Cable Company for 32 years until his retirement in 1987. Mr. Bragg served our country in the United States Navy during World War II on the U.S.S. Butte. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the American Legion Post, the VFW, and the North American Hunting Club. In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by two sons, Robert M. Bragg, Jr. and his wife Karen of Herndon, VA, and Timothy W. Bragg and his wife Kelli of Camano Island, WA; a daughter, Vicki Rhea Klimstra and her husband Randy of Norman, OK; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and one great greatchildren Along with his parents, Mr. Bragg was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Kessler and a grandson, Jeremy Kessler.
