Robert M. Boyer

YORK-Robert M. Boyer, 93, of Springfield Township, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at his residence. He was the husband of Beverley I. Dehoff. The couple celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary on August 11, 2023.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Salem Lutheran Church, 99 York Rd., in Jacobus. Pastor Tina Minnich will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Salem Union Cemetery in Jacobus. Full military honors will be provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Mr. Boyer was born in Baltimore, MD on October 31, 1930, the son of the late Harry A. and Estie M. (Krout) Boyer. He retired from Dentsply in York.

Mr. Boyer was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Jacobus, NRA, Izaak Walton League, and Springfield Farmers Sportsman Association. He was a Lance Corporal in the US Marine Corps. during the Korean war.

He was preceded in death by his sister Grace Louise Wolf.
