Robert Lee Wilvert

York-Robert Lee Wilvert, 65, passed away Saturday October 23, 2010 at York Hospital. A celebration of life tribute service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday October 28, 2010 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with The Rt. Rev. Barry E. Yingling, CSSS, chaplain of Brunswick at Longstown officiating. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 AM Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be private in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Born December 13, 1944 in York, he was a son of the late Jake R. and Freda G. (Rife) Wilvert. Mr. Wilvert worked as a custodian with Central School District for several years until his retirement. He was a member of the 13th Ward Club, Hawks Gunning Club, Shiloh American Legion and York Buckhorn Gunning Club. Mr. Wilvert is survived by one brother, William J. Wilvert of York, nieces, Sheila Cook, Cynthia Wilvert and Ritie Blouser, several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard E.
