Robert L. Weber, Jr.

LYNDHURST, VA - Robert L. Weber, Jr., 75, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Suzanne C. (Miller) Weber. The couple celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on August 4th. Services will be private. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Weber was born in Elgin, IL on August 11, 1936, son of the late Robert L. and Pender M. (Walsh) Weber, Sr. He worked over 50 years as a Credit Manager and retired from Wayn-Tex in Waynesboro, VA after 15 years. Mr. Weber served as Treasurer for 22 years for Chinquapin Home Owners Association, was a member of ROMEO Club (Retired Old Men Eating Out), volunteered for Augusta Health Hospital, and had a passion for nature and sports, especially tennis. He served in the US Army. Mr. Weber leaves a son, Tim Weber and his wife Virjean of Geneva, IL; two daughters, Polly Weber and her husband Chuck Thompson of Columbia, MD and Jennifer Hyman and her husband John of Seven Valleys; nine grandchildren, Darcy, Dena, Katie, John, Megan, Ben, Courtney, Rehgan, and Ashlin; a brother, Jack Weber of McHenry, IL; and a sister, Ann Vacula of McHenry, IL .
