Robert K. Wolfe

TROY- Robert K. Wolfe, 90, of Coryland, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Troy Community Hospital in Troy, PA. Bob was the husband of Bertha (Dean) White Wolfe. The couple married October 9, 1968 and had 44 happy years together. The memorial service to honor Bob’s life will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Coryland Church located at the 'four corners' near Coryland and Hickory Roads in Columbia Cross Roads, PA with Pastor Myra Goss officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of Bob’s family in Glenwood Cemetery. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main St. Troy, PA has been entrusted with arrangements. Bob was born on April 18, 1923 in Sylvania, PA, son of the late Hallock and Anna (Furman) Wolfe. He was a Troy High School graduate and a life long member of Coryland Church. In high school Bob played the trombone in the band and later in life played it for church services. Bob was a dairy farmer and worked the Wolfe Century Farm his great grandparents had started until his retirement. Bob is survived by his wife Bertha, his stepson Donald D. White, Sr. and wife Barbie of Troy, PA, his stepdaughter Susan Jones and her husband Keavin of Millerton, PA, five step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews. His parents, his brothers Merle and Stanley Wolfe, and his sister Marjorie Wolfe Durkin preceded Bob in death.
