Robert James Whitmeyer

YORK- Robert James Whitmeyer, 56, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Yorkview Nursing Center in York.

Robert was born in Point Pleasant, NJ on August 16, 1967, the son of the late Donald and Rosemary (Zicchino) Whitmeyer. He previously worked doing fiberglass repair on boats at Clarks Landing in New Jersey.

Robert leaves two daughters, Jessica Whitmeyer, Jamilyn McIver and her husband Corey; four grandchildren, Cadyn, Aubree, James, and Landan; two brothers, Mark Whitmeyer of Dallastown and Michael Whitmeyer of New Jersey; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Whitmeyer.

Services will be private. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
