Robert J. Sanders

TIOGA. PA-Robert J. Sanders, 77, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at ProMedica Nursing Home- Kingston Ct. in York.

Robert was born in York on January 19, 1945, the son of the late Paul and Almedia (Kraft) Myers. He retired for Courser Tool and Die, in Elmira, NY, where he was a master tool and die maker.

He had a passion for hunting, especially bow, and he was a border line professional archer.

Mr. Sanders leaves two sons, Steven J. Sanders and his companion Kath Orris of Red Lion and Brian D. Sanders and his wife Tracy of East Berlin; four grandchildren, Zachary Sanders, Stacie Grim, Dylan Sanders, and Ethan Sanders; five great grandchildren; a brother, Spurgeon Sanders of Red Lion, and a sister, Donna Scott of Dallastown. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rosella Myers.

Services will be private. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
