Robert J. Mattison, Jr.

WELLSBURG - Robert J. Mattison, Jr. Age 29, 0f Pine City, NY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Robert was born August 21, 1983 in Elmira, NY son of Robert and Barbara (Blanchard) Mattison. He was a graduate of Southside High School. Robert loved working out at the gym and was a member of Diamond Gym in Elmira. He was a very proud father to his son Robert III and loved all the joys of being a dad. Survivors include his parents Robert & Barbara Mattison of Pine City, his son Robert Mattison III of Endwell, NY, his love Angela Kany of Endwell, NY, sister, Belinda & Michael Wood of Elmira, niece and nephew, Ryleigh and Nolan Wood of Elmira, maternal grandmother, Gayle Blanchard of Wellsburg, paternal grandfather, Oreste Libertore of Elmira, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Robert was predeceased by his sister Shirley A. Mattison on January 19, 2012, paternal grandmother Shirley Libertore, maternal grandfather Robert Blanchard and his infant brother. Family and friends are invited to call from 3 to 5 PM Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY. His memorial service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 5 PM with Mr. Jerry Berbary officiating.
