RENOVO - Robert J. Heintz, Sr., 88 died at his residence, Friday, April 27, 2007. He was born in Renovo on June 9, 1918, son of the late Gustave & Etta (Jewell) Heintz. Bob was a member of the First United Methodist Church, former church treasurer, member Masonic lodge #495, member and former exalted ruler of Elks Lodge #334. He coached little league and junior league baseball for many years, was an avid sports fan and loved hunting, fishing, bowling and golfing. He worked as a supervisor for the Pennsylvania Railroad retiring with over 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife Miriam E. Heintz in 2004. and one sister Eleanor Andrews. Surviving are one Son Robert J. (Deanna) Heintz, Jr. of Lock Haven One daughter Jewell Ann (Oakley) Hayes of Addison, N.Y. 2 Step-Grandchildren (Joseph & Jeremy) 3 Grandchildren (Jefffery, Robert & Matthew) 1 great granddaughter (Allison) 2 Sisters Evelyn Moore & Marge Hampton both of Florida Several N/N A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the First U.M. Church, with Pastor James Wooster officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in North Bend Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Church or Community Nursing Assn. Arrangements are under the direction of the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo.
