RENOVO - Robert J. Chulak, 91, of S. Renovo died Sunday morning, June 30, 2013 at Bucktail Medical Center. He was born September 10, 1921 in Renovo the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Ondick) Chulak. Robert was married to the former Eleanor G. Bradney who died in 2004. They celebrated 58 years of marriage together. He worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1941- 1968 and the former Berwick Forge from 1970 – 1982. Robert was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corp. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He served from 1942 – 1945. Surviving are two daughters Cynthia Kreidler of Mill Hall and Marcia Mainguth of S. Renovo also four grandchildren Beau, Todd, Stephen and Marissa. He was preceded in death by a brother James Chulak. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo with the Rev. Charles Ugo officiating. Friends and relatives will be received from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner. Memorial contributions can be made to the Improvement Fund at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in his memory. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo has charge of arrangements.
