DALLASTOWN – Robert G. Good, 98, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at his home. He was the husband of Pauline Good to whom he was married for 16 years and the late Ruth A. (Rhodes) Good whom he was married for 60 years and passed away in 2003. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2021 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 East Main Street, Dallastown. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM Monday at the Church. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with full military honors presented by Dallastown American Legion Honor Guard. Robert’s Tribute Service will be webcast on his obituary page at www.HeffnerCare.com Born January 19, 1923 in Reading, a son of the late Katherine L. (Gibson) and John T. Good, Sr., he enlisted in the US Army out of high school and served during WWII under General Patton. Robert then worked at the Naval Supply Depot in Mechanicsburg, retiring in 1977. Mr. Good was also the former owner of the Dallas Theatre from 1959-1982. He was a member of Bethlehem U.M. Church, Dallastown American Legion Post 605, Hawks Gunning Club, and the former Moose Lodge. In addition to his wife, Mr. Good is survived by two daughters, Shirley A. and husband Jim Smith of Ft. Myers, FL and Karen L. and husband Randy Mellinger of York; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Good of Dallastown; two stepdaughters, Deb and husband Joe Patterson of Windsor and Karen and husband Tim Smith of Dallastown; two stepsons, Tim and wife Yemi Daugherty of Texas and Chris Daugherty of Altoona; eight grandchildren, Lisa Taylor, Theresa Yarnish, Jana Vuxta, Carla Stecker, Christa Schewe, Patti Bream, Robert Charles Good and Kenny Good; nine step grandchildren, Amanda, Brett, Zachary, Sarah, Noah, Lydia, Josh, Naomi and Cody; 21 great grandchildren, Chris, Nikki, Tyler, C.J., Robbie, Carson, Grayson, Bryan, Amanda, Ben, Christian, Gabe, Alexis, Jacob, Angela, Marissa, Mitchell, Alison, Lauren, Ellie and Abbie; four step great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Good; and a brother, John T. Good, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem U.M.
