AIRVILLE - Robert Evans “Bob” Shaull, 70 of Lower Chanceford Township, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of M. Kay (Stewart)Shaull. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 14, 2011. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Chanceford Presbyterian Church, 1784 Woodbine Road in Airville. His pastor, The Reverend Guy Dunham and The Reverend Harry R. Robinson will be officiating at the service. Viewings will be held from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion and Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Shaull was born in Laurel on April 13, 1942, the son of Wiley B. and Hazel (Warner) Shaull. He retired in 1996 after 36 years of service as a Cable Splicer and Trouble Shooter for GTE/ Verizon in York. As a child Mr. Shaull attended St. James Lutheran Church. He was a 50 year member of Chanceford Presbyterian Church, where he was a Trustee, Elder, and member of the Sunday school, served on the Board of Directors of Airville Fire Company and was a life member of the Fiddler’s Association. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and a member of the Tamarack Sportsman Club in Clinton County. He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Mr. Shaull leaves two daughters, Sueann Workinger and her husband Rick of Brogue, Amy Reichard and her husband Scott of Airville; six grandchildren, Nicole, Adam, and Jackie Reichard, Katie, Jim, and John Workinger; a brother, William Shaull of Airville; two sisters, Mae Liggitt of Stewartstown and Myrna Parlett of Red Lion; nieces, nephews; and a special family friends Kim and Dave Kauffman. An infant daughter had preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chanceford Presbyterian Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 56, Airville, PA 17302.
