Robert E. Lease

YORK- Robert E. Lease, 69, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at John Hopkins Medical Center. He was the husband of Belinda L. (Pleiss) Lease. The couple have enjoyed 35 years together. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the Liberty Social Club, 1041 North George Street, York. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born April 5, 1945 in York, Robert was the son of the late Raymond S. and Margaret E. (Wiles) Lease. He worked as a assembler for Harley Davidson until his retirement in 2006. Robert was a member of the Prince Athletic Club, Pleasureville American Legion Post 799, ABATE of PA, and the 13th Ward Political Club, and Liberty Social Club where he served as Vice President on the Board of Directors. Robert was a wonderful musician and loved to play the guitar. He also enjoyed shooting pool and riding motorcycles. Mr. Lease served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife, Belinda, Mr. Lease is survived by a daughter, Kristian Hach and her husband Jeff of York; a stepdaughter, Altrina Cartright and her husband David of Bell, Florida, and a granddaughter, Cierrah.
