ETTERS- Robert E. Cardasso, 69, of Newberry Township, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at his residence. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday at Yocumtown Church of God, 160 Red Mill Rd. in Etters, PA. Viewings will be from 6-8p.m. on Friday and 10-11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Tri County Memorial Gardens in Lewisberry. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street in Lewisberry is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Cardasso was born in Milford, Mass. on January 19, 1938, a son of the late Angelo and Irene J. (Colligan) Cardasso. He retired in 2000 from Senco Products, Inc. and then worked for Lance Structures in Leola. He was a member of Yocumtown Church of God in Etters. He was a Fire Police Captain and member of the Goldsboro Fire Company, and a member of Newberry Township Fire Company, York County Fire Police Association, PA Fire Police Association, and Northern York County Fish and Game. He was an auxiliary officer for the police department in Hopewell, Mass and was president of the Police Association in Hopewell, Mass. He served in the US Air Force. Mr. Cardasso leaves two sons: Gary Cardasso and his wife Holly of Etters, Brian Cardasso, Sr., and his wife Darlene of Etters, two daughters: Lynne Blessing of Harrisburg and Lisa Davis and her husband Steve, Jr. of Etters, eleven grandchildren, one great grandson, two brothers-in-law: Roland and Dennis Boucher and nieces and nephews.
