MECHANICSBURG- Robert E. Brenizer, 96, died on Monday, May 8, at Select Specialty Hospital in Camp Hill.
A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Parkville Bible Church, 800 Whisler Rd., Etters. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery with a flag folding ceremony by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305 W. Front St. Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements.
Born on December 1, 1926 in Upper Allen, he was a son of the late Andrew Dallas and Mildred Mary Alice (Oerman) Brenizer. Robert was an inspector at Sylvania and was also a farmer.
Mr. Brenizer served our country in the United States Army during WWII. Robert was a ham radio operator and also operated a radio and electronics repair service. In his spare time, he enjoyed taking short trips, hunting, especially deer and turkey and occasionally fished.
Mr. Brenizer is survived by his brother, Charles Brenizer and his wife, Lois of Lewisberry; and two sisters, Maybella Rhoads of York and Sarah Waltersdorff of York. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Luther Brenizer.
