WINFIELD - Robert D. "Bob" Woolsey, 60, died on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Sharon L. (Reichley) Woolsey to whom he married on June 1, 1968 and celebrated 39 years together. Bob was born in Lewisburg on October 26, 1947 and was a son of the late Francis "Fritz" and Mabel (Nesbit) Woolsey. He grew up in Milton and had attended the Milton Schools. He was a meat cutter for the former N.S. Troutman and Sons of Freeburg for over 30 years. Bob attended the Light House Worship Center, was a social member of the Hummels Wharf and Kratzerville Fire Departments, enjoyed football, especially the Redskins, enjoyed building and coin collecting. He and his wife, Sharon, were foster parents to numerous children. In addition to his wife Sharon, Bob is survived by one son; Timothy R. Woolsey of Winfield, one daughter; Traci L. Woolsey of Potts Grove, three grandchildren; Kayla Woolsey of Sunbury and Shane and Colby Woolsey, both of Winfield, one brother; Ronald T. Woolsey of Pensacola, FL and two nephews of the Washington, DC area. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton with Pastor Harley Yoder officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. There will be a public visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2008 and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's name may be made to the American Association for Health Freedom, 4620 Lee Highway, Suite 210, Arlington, VA 22207.
