Robert B. Roulston

WELLSVILLE- Robert B. “Bob” Roulston,77, died on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Diener) Roulston, who died on December 31, 2017. The couple had been married for 50 years. A Celebration of Life tribute service was held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, with Pastor Rick Sullivan of The Edge Church, officiating. Burial was private in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Born on May 30, 1940 in Ogdensburg, NY, he was the son of the late Robert H. and Florence A. (Baker) Roulston. Robert worked at Ski Roundtop in 1965, the year it opened, and then worked with Capital Engineers before starting his own construction business which he operated for 22 years. Bob was a member of the Dillsburg Kiwanis Club as well as being “Bob-o” the clown for many years. Bob went on numerous mission trips to Mexico teaching children’s workers there the art of clowning. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and dear friends. Mr. Roulston served our country for four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Bob was a very active member of Life Center in Harrisburg. Mr. Roulston is survived by two daughters, Julie Eppig and husband, Bill of Mechanicsburg and Christy Vorwald and husband, Tim of Ambler; four grandchildren, Christopher, Erin, Kate and Emery; two great grandchildren, Nigel and Minerva; sister, Joan Merritt of Hammond, NY; and niece, Katherine Merritt of San Jose, CA.
