Rietta Mae (Wallace) Spyker

WINDSOR- Rietta Mae (Wallace) Spyker, 99, died on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Susquehanna Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Milton W. Spyker, who died on August 7, 2000. The couple had been married 51 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. A viewing will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Born on July 12, 1913 in Long Level, she was a daughter of the late Quay M. and Mabel C. (Kelly) Wallace. Rietta was a house cleaner. Mrs. Spyker was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Freysville. She was always willing to help other people, especially children. Mrs. Spyker is survived by two sisters, Dottie L. Lighty and her husband, Donald of Wrightsville and Nancy C. Morgan of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.
