Richard R. "Pete" Flinchbaugh

RED LION - Richard R. “Pete” Flinchbaugh passed away at Promedica South on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. He was the husband of Marcia (Seitz) Flinchbaugh to whom he was married since June 29, 1963. (59 years)

Pete was born on March 1, 1942, to the late Richard and Helen (Heffner) Flinchbaugh.

He was a 1960 graduate of Red Lion Area Senior High School. He started an apprenticeship at Allis Chalmers, which later became Precision Components Corporation. He retired after 47 and a half years of service as a machinist. He was a lifetime member of Bethany U.M.C. of Felton and Union Volunteer Fire Company of Felton. Pete was also a member of Felton Hunting Club, as well as Craley Fish and Game.

Pete is survived by his wife Marcia, his son, Scott (Wendy), as well as his daughter, Pamela. He is survived by his two grandchildren, Eli and Sadie, and his siblings, brother Larry (Coni), Ronald (Judy), his sister Cynthia (Don) Daugherty.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Pastor Vernon Shenberger and Reverend Kate Bortner officiating the service. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation from 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery Felton at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions can be made to Alliance Fire and Rescue Services, Inc., 201 W. Broadway in Red Lion.
