Richard K. Phillips

Richard K. Phillips, Age 83 of Gillett, PA passed away Wednesday March 13, 2013 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Richard was born July 7, 1929 in Decatur, Illinois son of the late Lewis and Olive Mae (Bailey) Phillips. Before retirement he was employed by American LaFrance, Kennedy Valve, Bendix and lastly Remington Rand. Richard enjoyed the moments spent with his family. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting until this past hunting season. He also loved to ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Survivors include his loving wife Donna J. (Leonard) Phillips of Gillett, PA, sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence & Suzette Phillips, Chris & Mona Phillips all of Wellsburg, NY, two grandchildren, Lawrence R. Phillips of Wellsburg, NY and Amber & Andrew Petrezelli of Elmira, NY, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Richard was predeceased by his parents and a brother Victor Phillips. Family and friends are invited to call from 2 to 3 PM Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Roberts Funeral Home Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY. His funeral and committal service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 3 PM with Pastor Jim Ellis of the Bentley Creek Baptist Church officiating.
