Richard Joseph Houck

YORK- Richard Joseph Houck, 64, died on Thursday, October 27, 2022. He was the husband of Mary L. (Baker) Houck to whom he was married for 35 years.

A viewing will be held from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York.

Born on March 27, 1958 in York, he was a son of the late William G. and Betty (Ream) Houck. Richard was a self-employed painter for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley.

Along with his wife, Mary, Richard is survived by his step son, Jacob Slyder and his wife, Stacia of Dover; two step daughters, Mandy Nalbandian and her husband, Kyle of Dover and Kelly Rutledge and her husband, Brent of Dover; five step grandchildren, Elayna, Evan, Addison, Vivienne and Kayden; and four brothers, Billy, Cameron, Raymond and Eric Houck. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike and Dale Houck.
