Richard H. Boucher

YORK - Mr. Richard H. Boucher, 73, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Jene Whitmire. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road in York. Mr. Boucher served as a housing counselor for the York Housing Council for many years prior to retirement. He was a 1952 graduate of Wakefield High School in Wakefield Mass., and a 1960 graduate of Boston University where he received a BS in Marketing. Mr. Boucher was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean War from 1952 to 1956. In addition to his wife, Jene, Richard leaves two sons, Richard H. Boucher, Jr. of Baltimore, Md., and John C. Boucher of Lakeside, Ariz.; two daughters, Colette M. Bailes of Middletown, and Janine Orlando of Mechanicsburg; 11 grandchildren; one brother, David Boucher of Wakefield, Mass.; two sisters, Patricia Beherrel of Flemington, N.J., and Doreen Murphy of Stoneham, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Boucher.
