Richard G. Dellinger

YORK--Richard (Rick) G. Dellinger, 44, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Angela L. Dellinger. The couple would have celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on November 18, 2021. He is survived by his son, Ryan Dellinger and wife Darian; and twin daughters, Katelyn and Emily Dellinger. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dennis Quackenboss. A visitation will be held from 1 - 3 pm, Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. Born on December 4, 1976, in York, Rick is also survived by his parents, Anna (Puckett) and Richard E. Dellinger; his sister, Michelle and her husband Eric Pribula, and their sons, Nicholas and Dillon; grandfather, Billy Gene Puckett; aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, niece and a great-niece. Rick was a 1994 graduate of West York High School, and continued his education at York College and Wilkes University. He was a social studies teacher at South Western High School for the last 16 years, with a strong passion for teaching American Government and Politics.
