Richard F. Nagle

DOVER- Richard F. Nagle, 72, died on Sunday January, 19, 2014 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Gratia M. (Poirier) Nagle to whom he was married for 47 years. The couple wed on September 17, 1966. Services for Mr. Nagle are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born on June 30, 1941, he was the son of the late Clement P. and Marguerite C. (Hayes) Nagle. Richard was a software engineer for Unisys for over 40 years until his retirement in 2006. Mr. Nagle served our country for four years in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Richard enjoyed collecting classic model cars and model railroads and enjoyed working in his yard. Along with his wife, Gratia, Richard is survived by one son, Ryan Nagle and his wife Éva of Ashburn, VA; one daughter, Catherine McKenzie and her husband, Matthew of Athens, GA; one grandson László Nemes; one sister, Marilyn Hines of Rochester, MN; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
