YORK - Richard C. Lutz, 75, of York, died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at his residence. He was the husband of Barbara (Yustat) Lutz. The couple wed on February 17, 1962 A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Arlington E.C. Church, 585 Lombard Rd., Red Lion, with Pastor Bob LaForce, Pastor Sterling Trimmer, Jr. and the Reverend Jack Maich officiating. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Pl. Red Lion and from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with full military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born January 28, 1938, in Shickshinny, PA, he was a son of the late Leslo and Ellen (Kottage) Lutz. Richard was a general laborer at Unilever, formerly Lever Brothers, for over thirty years until his retirement in 1992. Mr. Lutz served our country in the United States Marine Corp for three years. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren In addition to his wife, Barbara, Richard leaves three daughters, Patricia Ann Maness of Charlotte, N.C., DeeAnna Ellen Sobczak of Owings Mills, Maryland and Corrinna Lynn Tompkins and her husband, Steven of Red Lion; five grandchildren; Ashley, Brandon, Casey, David and Daniel; and two brothers, William Lutz and Donald Lutz, both of Mountain Top, PA. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Alex, Robert and Johnny Lutz; and three sisters, Margaret Lutz, Elizabeth Lutz and Helen Krockmalney.
