Richard C. Livingston

York—Richard C. Livingston, 85, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Rest Haven Nursing Home. He was the husband of Bernadette S. (Sands) Livingston to whom he was married for over 60 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10AM Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with his pastor, the Rev. Douglas G. Dailey officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10AM, Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Born August 15, 1932 in Dover, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Mary E. (Drawbaugh) Livingston. He was employed as a vending machine mechanic for 40yrs with Canteen Vending, formerly Servomation until his retirement in 1997. Mr. Livingston is survived by two daughters, DeLeigh L. Wilson and husband, Ed of Boiling Springs and Renee L. Eckley and husband, Norm of Pawleys Island, SC; three grandchildren, Kayton and Anndra Wilson and Edward Wilson II; his loving dog, Kruiser, nieces, nephews and members of the Tarman and Hartlaub families. Three brothers, Carl, Floyd and Harold Livingston and one sister, Connie Headings, preceded him in death.
