Richard C. Lambert

DOVER- Richard C. Lambert, 66, died on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at UPMC Memorial Hospital.

Born on November 7, 1956 in Baltimore, he was a son of the late Jack and Joan (Stoudt) Lambert of Dundalk, MD. Richard was previously a most recently a mechanic at Blackburn's Garage and had been self employed for many years. During his younger years he worked for the Sparrows Point Shipyard and Baltimore Gas & Electric at Calvert Cliffs.

Mr. Lambert served our country in the U.S. Navy beginning in 1975 during peace time.

Richard is survived by his son, Richard C. Lambert, Jr. of Oregon, previously York, PA; brother, Robert Lambert and his wife, Judy of Delmar, DE; sister, Georgia Allen and her husband, Hal of Westminster, MD; niece Kristine Menchey and her husband Ron of Manchester, MD; niece Jackie Grenway of Owings Mills, MD; and was great uncle to Kyle and Lyndsay Menchey. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Lambert, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.
