Richard B. Richardson

NORTH BEND - Richard B. “Dick” Richardson, 76, passed away Sunday morning, January 8, 2017 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo. He was born March 30, 1940 in Black Lick, PA a son of the late Leroy and Carrie (Clawson) Richardson. Dick retired from International Paper in Lock Haven as a boiler man in 2002 after several years of employment. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Sons of Italy, Eagles all of Renovo. He was a member of the 40 & 8 Club, Lock Haven. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. Surviving are one daughter Brandy (Tim Griffiths) Richardson of S. Renovo and two grandchildren Marisa and Jared. A brother Theodore Richardson preceded him in death in 2016. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Rt. #22, Blairsville, PA. with Pastor Brett Dinger officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bucktail Medical Center, 1001 Pine Street, S. Renovo, PA 17764. A gathering for friends and family is being planned at the American Legion in Renovo on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo has charge of arrangements.
