Rhonda L. (Cohenour) Mckenzie

York—Rhonda L. (Cohenour) McKenzie, 68, passed away Tuesday, August 08, 2017 at her residence in York City. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10AM, Friday, August 11, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with her pastor, the Rev. James Driskell officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10AM, Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born September 3, 1948 in York, she was a daughter of the late Ira J. and Pauline G. (Weigle) Cohenour. She was employed as a truck driver with Lebarnald Trucking and later drove for Maple Doughnuts until her retirement. Previously she worked at Peoples Laundry. A member of First St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, she also enjoyed puzzles, adult coloring books, reading the bible and loved cats. Mrs. McKenzie is survived by two daughters, Crystal E. Myers and husband, David of Hellam and Rebecca M. Wolf and husband, Roland of St. Thomas; one son, Jason A. Deitz of Virginia; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth E. Cohenour and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Randy L. Deitz, one brother George J. Cohenour and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Deitz.
