Rhoda E. (Stoppard) Bahn

DOVER – Rhoda E. (Stoppard) Bahn, 92, passed away at York Hospital on April 14, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late, Benjamin H. Bahn. All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. in York is in charge of arrangements. Born February 3, 1930 in Springetsbury, she was a daughter of the late Russell L. and Kathryn M. (Stein) Stoppard. Mrs. Bahn was a long-time member at New Creation Methodist Church. And in her free time, she enjoyed bowling, going on cruises, taking trips to various mountains and beaches, listening to her records, and spending time with her cats. Mrs. Bahn leaves behind three daughters, Waneta K. Sherry of York, Nancy C. Messersmith of Dover, and Bobbi-Jo Bahn of York; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a brother, Kenneth Stoppard and his wife Darlene of Dover; two sisters, Rachel Cadwallader from Dillsburg, and Ruth Snyder and her husband Lowell of Texas; and her good friends Jack and Em. Mrs. Bahn is preceded in death by three brothers, George Stoppard, Luther Stoppard, and Philip Stoppard; a sister, Anna Mary March; and her beloved cat, Sammy. CLICK HERE TO SEND FLOWERS
