Rhett E. Warner

Dallastown--Rhett E. Warner, 53, died Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Rest Haven Nursing Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 AM, Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. James Goudie officiating. Viewing will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday and from 9-10 AM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born December 31, 1962 in York, he was the son of Janet E. (Landis) Warner Gross and the late Robert E. Warner. He was employed for several years as a plasterer and later as a warehouse worker. A member of Colemanville United Methodist Church, he was also a member of the Owls Club and 1981 graduate of Dallastown High School. An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR, he especially enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt Sr, and Kevin Harvick. Rhett is also survived by three children, Bradley, Dustin and Amanda; three grandchildren, two sisters, Victoria and Sandra; one brother, Ronald and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step father, William “Bill” Gross. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics of York County, PO Box 333, Dover, Pa 17315.
