FELTON—Reynold L. Hall, 88, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Senior Commons at Powder Mill. Due to Covid-19 health restrictions all services will be private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born July 7, 1932 in Felton, he was a son of the late Elva (Stabley) and Chester Kohler. He proudly served in the United States Army, stationed in Frankfort, Germany. He was employed with Yorktown Kitchens for many years as an assembler and finisher until his retirement in 1994. As a young man he worked at J.C. Murphy’s 5&10 in Red Lion. A lifetime member of Springvale United Methodist Church, he also played piano Sunday Evening at Prayer Mission Church in Martinsville. Together with Calvin Leiphart, he made countless pies, cakes and batches of apple butter for local community churches and residents. He also enjoyed collecting antiques, traveling and taking bus trips with Calvin. Mr. Hall is survived by a sister, Jeannine E. Knisley and husband, Charles of Felton.
