DALLASTOWN - Relda F. (Stambaugh) Geesey, 90, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Manor Care Dallastown. She was the wife of the late George W. Geesey II, who died on February 22, 1981. The couple had been married for 43 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be 10 a.m. on Thursday May 24, 2012 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with the Reverend Steven Schmuck officiating. A viewing will be from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on July 12, 1921, Relda was a daughter of the late Harry S. and Anna M. (Lines) Stambaugh. Mrs. Geesey was a housewife who loved her cats. Mrs. Geesey is survived by two sons, George W. Geesey III and his wife, Suk of Red Lion and Harry L. Geesey and his wife, Tena of Dallastown; two daughters, Joan D. Hammers and her husband, James of Red Lion and Connie M. Meyers and her husband, Terry of Dallastown; over 60 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a sister, Beatrice “Dolly” Himmelright of York. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bruce Geesey and Gary Geesey; three daughters, Rose Silk, Patricia Hodge and Jean Hildebrand; six brothers; and five sisters.
