Regis E.J. Lageman

YORK- Regis E. J. Lageman, 69, died on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at his residence. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Pastor Don Wolabaugh officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Born on November, 27, 1948 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late August and Miriam (Winslow) Lageman, III. Regis was an engineer at Cablec and retired from Frist Capital Wire & Cable in 2008. Regis also worked as an independent consultant where he was an expert witness on asbestos cases and was the owner of Management Recruiters of Orange Park in Florida. Mr. Lageman was a member of Harvest Chapel in Abbottstown. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Lageman is survived by his daughter, Adrienne M. Lageman of York; brother, August Lageman, IV of Tennessee; two sisters, Rebecca Dull of York and Patrice Rosenfeld of Harrisburg; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Lageman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harvest Chapel, 6947 York Rd., Abbottstown, PA 17301.
