Regina L. (Eisenhart) Sheets

YORK- Regina L. (Eisenhart) Sheets, 80, of York City, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Manor Care North. She was the wife of John E. Sheets, Jr. The couple celebrated their 50th Anniversary in June 2007. Visitation will be Saturday, March 8, 2008 from 3 to 5:00 p.m. at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, PA 17408. Mrs. Sheets was born in Taxville on February 17, 1928, a daughter of the late Curvin L. and Mary M. (Henise) Eisenhart. Mrs. Smith attended four years of nursing school at the Westside Sanitarium. She was an LPN at Memorial Hospital for 38 years before retiring in 1992. Mrs. Sheets enjoyed playing cards, reading and meeting with Memorial Hospital retiree's at Hoss's. Her family were her life, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Sheetz is survived by her daughters: Terri Paxson and husband Walter, Kelli Herman and husband Richard both of York, five grandchildren: Schenley, Baylee, Loralie, and Coy Herman, and Abbey Paxson, her sister Martha Cunningham of York and a close family friend, Tammy Althoff of Spring Grove.
