Reba Marie (Warner) Leiphart

Red Lion – Reba Marie (Warner) Leiphart, 95, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012. She was the wife of the late Arthur S. Leiphart, to whom she had been married for over 49 years. A funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the New Harmony Presbyterian Church, 2295 Delta Road, Brogue, PA 17309. There will be a visitation at the church from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. A graveside service will immediately follow the funeral service, and will be held at the New Harmony Presbyterian Cemetery. Reba was born November 12, 1916 in Crossroads, PA, the daughter of the late Ray Carl and Annie Margaret (Burk) Warner. After school Reba worked for a number of years at the Jake Winter cigar factory, before becoming a full-time homemaker. She was a long time member and deacon of the New Harmony Presbyterian Church and until her death was the longest living member of said church. Mrs. Leiphart was an avid reader and gardener. She was also a good hearted woman who opened her home to those who needed her. Reba Leiphart is survived by a daughter, Gail Marie Blosser and her husband, Jerry; three brothers, Dean Warner and his wife Helen of Red Lion, Richard Warner and his wife Arlene of Red Lion, and Robert Warner and his wife Charlotte of Red Lion; numerous nieces and nephews; and a granddog, Maggie. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Warner, and two sisters, Beulah Daugherty and Margaret Daugherty.
