Raymond J. Petrick

WILKES-BARRE-Raymond J. Petrick, 86, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Thursday morning at Tel Hai Nursing Center, Honey Brook. Born in Wilkes-Barre on December 1, 1924, he was a son of the late John and Anna Petrick. He was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Petrick was the owner of Petrick Refrigeration and was very dedicated to his work. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, the former Eleanor Scezniak; his son Darren; brother John; and sisters, Eleanor, Rita, Julia, Mildred and Ruth. Surviving are his son, Raymond A. Petrick and his wife, Ann, Chester Springs; daughter Sally Klaips and her husband, David, Kingston; grandson Matthew Klaips; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will follow in the Lithuanian Independent Cemetery, West Wyoming. Friends may call Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
