Raymond H. Brennan Raymond H. Brennan, 91, of Pottsville died Wednesday morning at the ManorCare, Pottsville where he was a resident for the past two years. Born in Pottsville March 1, 1916 he was the son of the late William and Anna Neidlinger Brennan. He attended Pottsville Schools. Mr. Brennan was an Army veteran of World War II with the 775th Tank Battalion serving in the Philippines and won a bronze metal for Bravery. He was a member of the Pottsville American Legion Post #67 He worked for the Reading Railroad and was a route foreman for Lehigh Valley Dairy retiring in 1971. A daughter Carol Reck, four sisters Marian Eckert, Doris Wagner, Anna Underwood and Catherine Kelly, three brothers William, Clarence, and Emmett Brennan precede Mr. Brennan in death. Surviving is his wife of 65 years Leah G. (Philips), Pottsville, a daughter Patricia, wife Richard Eisenhower, Pottsville, a granddaughter Lori, wife of Mark Rosenblatt, Cranbury, N.J., a brother Daniel Brennan, Pottsville, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11:30 A.M. at the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc.. The Rev Storm Hutchinson officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 10:30 till time of service. Interment with military honors will be at Schuylkill Memorial Park; Inc. Condolences may be sent to bestlifetribu
