Raymond G. Brady POTTSVILLE-Raymond G. Brady 67 of East Mines, died Thursday at the Schuykill Medical Center South Jackson, Pottsville. Born in Heckschersville, Pa February 8, 1941, the son of the late James A. and Genevieve C. "Bergan" Brady. He graduated from Nativity B.V. M. High School, Pottsvile. Mr. Brady was a Army veteran. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum., Cressona in 1976. Mr. Brady was a member of Saint Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, Saint Clair. He was the treasurer and a life member of the Phoenix Hose Company #4, East Mines, a coach for twenty years for the Babe Ruth Baseball league, Pottsville, Saint Clair Legion and Old Timers. Surviving are two brothers Francis A., husband of KayAnn Brady, Lancaster, PA; James E., husband of, Dolores Brady, Saint Clair, a sister Mary Jane, wife of Walter Reed, Pottsville, a long time companion Mary Ellen Shollenberger, Pottsville,a niece and seven nephews, and great nieces and nephews. A celebration of life tribute will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 A.M.at the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours Sunday evening. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 A.M. till time of service. The family would prefer remembrances to be sent to the Pottsville Babe Ruth League, c/o Carl Hughes, 1322 Mount Hope Avenue, Pottsville, PA 17901.
