Raymond G. Arendt

WEST YORK BORO- Raymond G. Arendt, 70, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at his residence. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. Mr. Arendt was born in Gettysburg on April 23, 1946, the son of the late Ralph H. and Marietta J. (Warner) Arendt, Sr. He retired from Dart Container in Lancaster where he was a supervisor. Mr. Arendt was a graduate of Gettysburg High School and served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Mr. Arendt leaves a brother, Ralph H. Arendt, Jr. of York; a sister, Denise Y. Lambright of Gettysburg; a nephew Christopher Arendt, and a niece, Buffy Baker. Memorial Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
