Raymond F. Kiefner, Sr.

SHREWSBURY- Raymond F. Kiefner, Sr., 80 passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Pamela H. (Smorada) Kiefner. The couple celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on May 30, 2023.

Mr. Kiefner was born in Baltimore on March 18, 1944. He was the son of the late Vernon and Martha (Wood) Kiefner. He served in the US Army. He retired from Harford Refrigeration in Rosedale Md. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, along with range shooting. First and foremost, he was a great father. He treasured his time with his family on the beach.

Mr. Kiefner leaves two sons, Raymond F. Kiefner, Jr. and Michael G. Kiefner; and three daughters, Mary Jo Davis, Kristine L. Kiefner, and Denise L. Kiefner. He was preceded in death by a daughter Paige E. Kiefner.

As a Christian, he lived by grace believing:

But those who hope in the Lord

will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not grow weary,

they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements.
