Raymond C. Sier

YORK- Raymond C. “Raymie” Sier, 86, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Reita I. (Yost) Sier. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd in York, with a viewing from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens in Dover. Mr. Sier was born in York on September 29, 1931, the son of the late Guy E. and Bertha (Kipp) Sier. He retired from York Water Company after 45 years of service and was a member of the Iron Workers Union in York. Mr. Sier leaves two sons, Daniel M. Sier and his wife Mindi of York and Carl R. Sier of York; two grandchildren, Steven Sier and his wife Kandace and Devon Sier; two great grandchildren, Sophia and Luna Sier; and a brother, Gilbert Sier of York.
