Randy Allen Harris

YORK - Randy A. Harris, 65, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his home with his family by his side. 

Born April 23, 1959 in Hanover, Pennsylvania, Randy was the son of Gloria (Zeigler) Harris and the late Ronald Harris Sr.. After graduating from Bermudian Springs High School in 1977, Randy worked as a Press Operator culminating with his retirement from OpSec Security in April 2024. Randy was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed going to sprint car races with his friends. 

In addition to his mother, Randy leaves behind his two sons, Dustin Harris and Kyle Harris; a sister, Lorraine (Harris) Miller; and three brothers, Donald Harris, Ronald Harris Jr., and Tyrone Harris. Randy is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Harris Sr., ex-wife and good friend, Susan Lynn Johns, along with her father, Robert Johns, who was a great mentor and large influence in Randy’s life. 

There will be a viewing at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM.
