Randy G. Wheeler

LOCK HAVEN - Randy G. Wheeler, 57, of Lock Haven passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at UPMC-Williamsport Hospital. He was born January 5, 1960 in Lock Haven a son of the late Paul and Charlotte “Jean” (Hanley) Wheeler. Randy was married to the former Helen A. Mahaffey who survives. They celebrated 31 years of marriage together. He worked for American Color and Chemical Corp. of Lock Haven. Randy attended Monument Church. He served in the National Guard. He enjoyed nature, camping, hunting and fishing. Surviving are his loving wife; one son Brian Young, Jr. and a daughter Alice Young both of Lock Haven. Four grandchildren Logan, Morgan, Dakota and Cassidy along with several other grandchildren. Four brothers; Paul, Jr., Gary Dean, William and Rodney also four sisters; Peggy Gilbert, Sandy Hummel, Paula Glossner and Kathy Jo Johnson. A special Aunt “Gink” Elva “June” Bilbay of Lock Haven also survives. A brother Robby preceded Randy in death. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. The family asks that contributions be made to the funeral chapel to assist with final expenses.
