Randy C. Frey

Dallastown—Randy Charles Frey, 58, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Melissa A. (Godfrey) Frey to whom he was married for 35 years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 7:00PM, Friday, October 18, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Officiating the service will be Certified Celebrant Allison R. Duke. A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 7:00PM, Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Born September 29, 1966 in York, he was the son of Sandra D. (Duke) Frey-Sellers of Red Lion the late Donald L. Frey. He was a 1984 graduate of Red Lion Senior High School and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church – Mt. Rose Ave, York.

Throughout his working career, he was employed at various local warehouse distributors.

Randy is also survived by his two sons, Devon D. Frey and Zachary M. Frey; one sister, Sherry A. Burks; one brother, Craig A. Frey; two nephews, David L. Frey and Shawn D. Burks; one great niece, Presley M. Burks and his step grandfather, William L. Neidhammer. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lester G. Duke; his grandmother, Athalena Neidhammer; grandparents, Charles and Mabel Frey and stepfather, Wayne A. Sellers.

After eight years, Randy passed away due to complications from multiple myeloma. The family, especially his mother, would like to extend a warm, heartfelt thank you to Dr. Amir Tabatabi, Dr. Haiyun Wang, Christine Patterson and Randy’s Ladies, Pam, Kylie, Erin and Debbie. The family also wanted to thank, Jason…we love you all.
