Randall Lee Joseph

YORK – Randall Lee Joseph, 65, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 25, 2021. He was the husband of Linda L. (Shutt) Joseph with whom he would have celebrated 25 years of marriage in June. Born June 3, 1955 in York, a son of the late Jane (Steinhauer) and Rodney Joseph, Sr.; he was a 1973 graduate of West York Area High School and a graduate of Lock Haven University where he was a member of their basketball teams. Randy began his career with Mason Dixon Trucking and later worked and retired from Hoffman Homes for Youth in Gettysburg. He enjoyed his volunteer work as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and with Mission Central in Mechanicsburg. Randy still enjoyed playing basketball and spending time on the golf course. He loved spending time with his family, but particularly his grandchildren, on numerous beach and camping vacations; and gardening around his home. Randy was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife Linda, Mr. Joseph is survived by three sons, Brian L. Joseph of Redwood City, CA; Eric M. McCalister and wife Gabrielle of Durham, NC and Jacob A. McCalister and wife Elizabeth of Windsor; two daughters, Heidi L. Campisi and husband Ryan of York and Kristy J. Beshore and husband RJ of Cornelius, NC; eight grandchildren; and four brothers, Rodney Joseph, Jr. and wife Alesa of York, his twin brother Richard Joseph and wife Lori of Myrtle Beach, SC, Christopher Joseph of York and Kevin Joseph of York. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements.
