Randall L. Welshans

Loganton - Randall L. Welshans, 48, died Wednesday, October 15, 2008 as a result of an automobile accident on Rt. #880 South of Rauchtown. He was born September 27, 1960 in Jersey Shore the son of the late Harry & Mabel (Kulp) Welshans. Randall was a construction worker for local #1180 of the International Laborers Union. He was an avid hunter, loved building furniture, woodworking and was a "workaholic". Surviving are his companion of three years Noel Elaine Ladd, four brothers Alan, Paul, Harry and Howard all of Loganton. Two sisters Ardena (Jeffrey) Cathcart of Jersey Shore and Karen (Herb) Welshans of Woolrich. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service will be held 8:00 P.M. Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan blvd., Mill Hall with Pastor Vernard Wynn officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
