Ralph Larry Williams

DOVER- Ralph Larry Williams, 65 died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at York Hospital. Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Williams was born March 31, 1943, in York, a son of the late James R. and Annabell (Evans) Williams. He was a graduate of Dallastown High School. Mr. Williams was a former employee of The Sheridan Press in Hanover as a proofreader and typesetter until he could no longer work due to medical reasons. Mr. Williams is survived by a brother, James F. and wife Ruthanna Williams of York; two step-brothers, Dennis Zercher of Dover, and Joseph Zercher of LA; a step-sister, Patricia Gleason of Red Lion; two nephews, James L. Williams and wife Mary, and Brian R. Williams and wife Lauri, all of York; two great nephews, Jimmy and Elliott Williams, both of York; cousins, "Bingo" Steph Stevens of Dover, Marie Jo Musser of York, and good friend and cousin, Richard Hess of Dover. His son Marc A. Williams, whom he loved and missed, preceded him in death on March 19, 1997. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marc A. Williams fund at York County Community Foundation, 14 W. Market Street, York, PA 17401-1617.
